- Each swimmer must be able to swim the length of the pool (25
yards) to be a member of the swim team.
- A birth certificate and insurance waiver must be submitted before a child can swim, please submit with your registration form. (Swimmers birth certificates of the prior season are on file)
- Each swimmer must attend three (3) practices per week, with one (1) of those practices at the Cumming City Pool to be eligible to swim in the meets. Excuses for vacations, camps and other such things are understood with special circumstances at the coach's discretion.
- Each swimmer must swim in at least three (3) meets and one (1) being the Georgia Sports Festival, Invitational or Pentathlon during the season to be eligible to swim at the District and North Georgia League Championship Meets.
- A list of meets will be distributed at registration; each swimmer must indicate which meets they will attend. A parent and swimmer must sign this meet commitment sheet prior to the season start. A
seven-day notice must be given to the coach if you are unable to attend a meet you previously indicated you would. This is very important! It is extremely difficult to plan the relays when swimmers fail to attend the meet. Many times it results in the complete cancellation of our relay for that particular age group.
